Extraction of Chlorophyll using Dimethyl sulfoxide and Acetone
PublicContenu téléchargeable
open in viewerChlorophyll samples were extracted from Nostoc using various concentrations of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and acetone. The samples were exposed to a range of light and heat conditions and analyzed using a spectrophotometer. Visible spectra Plots were generated to show the most effective extraction method, which was then used as the standard for experiments using secondary models. Acidification experiments were then conducted to quantify the conversion transfer from chlorophyll to pheophytin.
