Hume, Australia hosts a significant migrant and refugee population. The Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) assists migrant and refugee youth (15-25) in navigating barriers and attaining success. Our project aimed to inspire new arrivals by showcasing success stories of their peers, which we gathered via a focus group and interviews and conveyed in a brief video with follow up discussion activities. Emphasizing a growth mindset, our video aimed to encourage youth to approach challenges as opportunities.
