Salem redux -- an original short story

Public

This Major Qualifying Project deals with the question of the Hysteria in Salem during 1692. In an original work of fiction, it responds to my personal questions and doubts about witchcraft and its persecution through a creative piece. The creative piece is a combination of literary formats including: poetry, prose, and dramatic dialogue. The first version of the piece attempts to reconstruct the language used during the late 1600's, while the second is modernized.
