Design of an Automated Trituration System for Isolation of Cardiogenic Cells
PúblicoCardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. Approximately 8 million people in the United States suffered from a myocardial infarction last year. This Major Qualifying Project looks to automate the process of isolating cardiogenic cells. These cardiogenic cells provide an opportunity to help regain lost heart function after a myocardial infarction. This was accomplished through the design of an automated trituration system for isolation of cardiogenic cells.
