Loudspeaker frequency response correction using digital signal processing

Public

The purpose of this project was to design a DSP based loudspeaker correction processor. To accomplish this task, we measured the frequency response of loudspeakers and used MATLAB to design correction filters that would correct the response within a +/- 1dB tolerance from 200Hz to 20kHz. We then implemented the filters to the DSP evaluation board. Frequency response measurements and blind listening tests were used to judge the effectiveness of our design.
