Programming sound visually -- a visual programming language for audio sequencing and manipulation

Public

The goals of this project are: the design of a visual programming language that allows algorithmic sequencing of digital sound data, and the implementation of a programming environment to allow users to assemble programs that adhere to the visual language definition. Language design is presented through descriptions of desired language functionality, corresponding visual representations and the resulting grammar. Implementation presents a walkthrough of the program's architecture and functionality and discusses the motivation behind the chosen design.
