Programmable Logic-Based Detection of Implanted Pacemaker Pulses in Electrocardiograph Data
Public DepositedInternational safety standards require that electrocardiographs for diagnostic and monitoring purposes detect and flag the presence of pulses from implanted pacemakers. Prior approaches use analog circuits, which increase BOM cost and board area, or software algorithms, which can excessively load embedded processors. In this report, the feasibility of a programmable logic-based solution is evaluated and discussed.
