This project examined the design and construction of the athletic facility at Quinnipiac University. Through various design alternatives, structural analyses to various areas of the facility were completed. An extensive investigation was completed for cost, code requirements, fire protection systems, structural design, and urban and environmental aspects. These extensions explored alternatives in material, design, and site layout. The overall purpose of this project was to provide the team with design experience through real-world applications in civil and fire protection engineering.
