Optimization of controls for FIRST robot

Public

The WPI/Mass Academy FIRSTRobotics team continually attempts to become more competitive through technological innovations. This MQP examines robotic control methods through the creation and comparison of multiple control devices for the mechanical arm on the 2001 FIRST Robotics Team 190 Robot. The project goal was to test alternative designs for education of operator error and subsequent learning curve. Using experimentation and iterative design, control methods were evaluated to provide a foundation for future control innovations and project work.
