This project was sponsored by a local general practitioner. The MQP team analyzed the current system of patient record storage and retrieval to realize problems, opportunities, and directives. The devised patient information retrieval and automatic patient notification system helped solve the realized existing problems, actualize opportunities, and meet directives. The resulting medical information system, which will supplement the existing medical office's system, features easy-to-use interfaces for patients and staff and a relational database backbone.
