As a free public service operated by Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the ASSISTments Foundation, ASSISTments currently provide service for k-12 students to practice their academic skills. Currently, there are some new features under development. Among them, I participated in developing similar problems searching and building a knowledge tracing model for problem mastery in ASSISTments. In this report, there are two sections presenting the work done in each project. In the developing similar problems searching project, I developed a simple feature by Vue and Java Spring technique allowing teachers to search for similar problems based on original problems. In the knowledge tracing model project, I explored the pyBKT library, built the model, and performed some analysis and predictions on the dataset.
