A Low Cost High-Fidelity Signal Generator

Pubblico

The purpose of this project was to design, build, and test a high fidelity signal generator that will produce a single-tone sine-wave output as controlled through a PC user interface. The generator must be able to supply frequencies between 1MHz and 100 MHz with minimal distortion from the second and third harmonics of the desired signal. These performance requirements were set by the project sponsor, Analog Devices, and are designed around the potential for use in testing their AD8007 Ultra-Low Noise Amplifier
