A characterization of the AD7725's filtering capability

Pubblico

This project, sponsored by Analog Devices in Limerick, Ireland, dealt with the final stages of development of their new programmable sigma-delta analog to digital converter, the AD7725. After designing and testing numerous filter configurations, the filtering capability of the AD7725 was characterized. From this information, a filtering manual was designed to facilitate the understanding of the chip's functionality and limitations and to guide users through the filter design process. This manual will be made available to the public with the release of the chip in November 2000.
