The project team did research on the Global Standard for Mobile communications system, as well as cellular coverage prediction models at Tele Danmark A/S. The team integrated a Nokia phone, a laptop and a measuring wheel to collect data on radio signal propagation. Another program, consisting of the Nokia phone and a GPS receiver was developed to display data in real time. After the analysis of the collected data, the team developed a model based upon research and measured data.
