Creating imaginative scenery for Romeo and Juliet

Public

To explore and demonstrate the importance of communicating the central mood of the play as the audience's first impression, I have created a scenic design for Romeo and Juliet. Research into fundamental design principles and critical evaluations of current production designs in London aided my design process. My research confirms that the script, the directorial concept, and the performance space are essential considerations in creating a meaningful design.
