Continuous process improvement at Allmerica Financial

Allmerica Technology Services, a division of Allmerica Financial, supports continuous process improvement (CPI). Employees submit ideas as CPI requests. Previously, the process was manual and inefficient. The project team planned, analyzed, designed, constructed, and implemented a solution. The new system consists of an Oracle database with a Java-based web interface. It is accessible to the entire company and intuitive and easy to use, which will promote CPI request submission and encourage continuous process improvement.

  • This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
