This project investigates the impact of telecommunications and computer technology on diabetes care and management. HumaLink is an experimental medical device confronted with the normal considerations impeding widespread use, including cost analysis and patient and physician opinions or confidence levels. Using published literature, consultations with experienced professionals, and feedback gathered from patient surveys, recommendations based on the current status will be constructed to improve on the acceptance of the system.
