In this project, current inventory amounts and locations are examined at three of Staples' fulfillment centers in support of implementing a dock to stock program. The analysis involved determining which items needed to be moved into smaller or larger locations, exploring space feasibility, and estimating cost and savings benefits. Project results recommended re-profiling of these fulfillment centers to meet Staples' demand for one week of inventory in active storage locations in order to implement dock to stock.
