This IQP was to optimize WPI's Athletic Equipment Room, particularly its inventory, workers, and physical space management. The IQP group met this goal while considering the health and fitness goals of the WPI community. The group observed WPI's operations and those of other athletic facilities. It researched technical and organizational options to optimize management. The group produced a system to maintain inventory (Microsoft Access database with inventory bar codes) and revised procedures and space organization.
