Assessing First-Year Information Literacy Skills

open in viewerThis project details the construction of an assessment instrument to aid the Gordon Library at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in evaluating baseline information literacy skills among first-year students. The project also presents a selection of other options to fulfill the Library's need for information literacy assessment in general. Included in this report are conclusions from two cycles of pilot testing and instrument revision, as well as suggestions for further revisions and the continuation of IL assessment at Gordon Library.
