With transportation producing over half of all carbon emissions in Monteverde, our goal was to aid CORCLIMA in promoting collective transportation to help reduce vehicular carbon emissions. To do so we identified the needs of commuters, gathered information on available collective transportation in Monteverde, developed a website advocating for collective transportation and a marketing campaign promoting a WhatsApp rideshare group chat. Our recommendations will provide methods to meet user needs, maintain the functionality of the website, and advance CORCLIMA’s mission.
