This project aided General Electric Aircraft Engine Plant IV in Lynn, MA by developing a Preventative Maintenance (PM) database system. The PM system will help GE employees to add, delete, update, identify, notify, and assign the problems of each machine to the attention of the proper technicians. The project team migrated the data from the old PM system, which was built using Microsoft Access 95. Enhancements were added to the system to improve ease of use and documentation was written for future trouble shooting. A demonstration of the system was provided for GEAE users at the conclusion of the project.
