This report, prepared during studies at the Federal Technical University of Zurich, Switzerland (ETHZ), addresses the past, current and future state of nuclear power in Switzerland. It provides a technical description of the nuclear power production process used in Swiss plants. It also examines political and social trends and makes predictions about how these trends affect the future of nuclear power in Switzerland.
