Ace-XQ is an XML-query based caching system that uses the World Wide Web Consortium's standards of XML and XQuery, with a focus on cache management. We implemented several popular replacement policies from the literature and also devised a few customized ones. In addition to full query replacement, we have also developed techniques to replace individual pieces of queries. Improvements also are made to the query containment mapper and user interface to the XML caching system.
