Meadows, Demmos L. Meadows and Jorgen Randers. It was based on the prototype of a system dynamics model built by their teacher Jay W. Forrester called World2. It described the prospects for growth in the human population and the global economy during the coming century. In 1991, the authors revisited their model and came to new conclusions. The "Limits to Growth" was then rewritten and called "Beyond the Limits". We have created a learning environment that allows users to compare the different scenarios illustrated in the "Beyond the Limits" book and also experiment with variables from the model so that the user can develop his/her understanding of the model. This learning environment is based on the most recent model, World3/2000, which has been updated to reflect changes in the world since 1991."|"" |"" |"" |"" |"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"|"" |"Worcester Polytechnic Institute"|"2001-01-01" |"" |"" |"01D007M" |"" |"" |"" |"" |"W/"27dd3afd8e42e26e69319de463e3c10472a7d9e3""|"https://digital.wpi.edu/show/dn39x462r"
