Developing Experiential Games for Environmental Activism in Albania
Public DepositedClimate change and environmental degradation in Albania contribute to worsening living conditions and financial stress. Our project supports the Environmental Center for Development, Education and Networking (EDEN) in Tirana through the creation of facilitated, experiential games and activities for informal education and awareness-building. We developed 12 experiential games on the themes of air pollution, mobility, energy poverty, circular economy, and climate justice. We tested and evaluated six games with 30 environmental activists and refined six additional games. We created the experiential games for environmental awareness and facilitator's guide and toolkit for the EDEN Center.
