The primary goal of this MQP is to provide an introductory survey of business intelligence systems that can be used by students, professor or business professionals at the beginning of a business intelligence project. Many people are familiar with various components of business intelligence systems (database, report, query, stored procedure, data warehouse), but have not been exposed to a holistic overview of the many approaches and techniques used to creating business intelligence systems.

• This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
