Project assessment at Allegro Microsystems, Inc. -- an analysis of a hazardous chemical storage system

Öffentlich

Allegro Microsystems, Inc. manufactures integrated circuits by the process of etching silicon wafers. This process requires the use of different hazardous chemicals that are stored in Allegro's storage system. To appropriately store these chemicals certain guidelines and considerations must be followed. This project consists of modifying Allegro's storage building by the incorporation of two secondary rooms for storing refrigerated chemicals and hazardous waste, the increase in separation distances between incompatible chemicals, and the minimization of material handling efforts.
