This interdisciplinary computer science (CS) and professional writing (PW) MQP contains a custom Webhooks-as-a-Service (WaaS) API codebase and report for 7Factor, a software company specializing in software delivery and cloud services. The CS MQP project contains a custom WaaS API design.The PW MQP report communicates best practices for API documentation for users and developers, complete with surveys, a literature review, and a rhetorical inquiry. Positive elements of API documentation were recommended and implemented in a documentation set that includes a user guide and standard operating procedure related to API development. The deliverables include key features and procedures of a WaaS API created by 7Factor’s pilot Webhooks MQP team for future team use.
