Platform leveler

Public

In this project, we designed and built a platform leveler. We used a dual-axis control system, which drove two independent bi-directional 12V DC motors through the use of a pendulum-driven potentiometer and a laser-activated phototransistor array as our level detecting devices. The signals from the potentiometer and phototransistor array were fed into power operational amplifiers, which manipulated the voltages accordingly and produced the signals used by the motors to level each platform.
