Accidental crane collisions with power lines often result in fatalities or injuries from electrocution. The goal of this project was to create an AC Electric Field sensing device that can be mounted to a crane arm to warn the operator of a dangerous proximity of energized wires. The report covers the important background information for the project's scope. The Project Design Analysis Section describes the design of the system modules. The Performance Analysis Section explains how well the final prototype met the design specifications.
