The objective of this project was to increase the electrical output, in terms of current, of the existing microbial battery. All experiments were performed so as to create a more practical microbial battery as compared with the original battery. A very substantial increase in the current was produced with a redesigned microbial battery and an optimized chemical composition as a result of these experiments.
