Student Work

Lifecycle of Fuller Laboratories

Public

This project investigated the design and construction of WPI's Fuller Laboratories. Aspects included functional, economic and physical performances during its construction and use. These performance areas included the Pre-Development, Development and Post-Development (Operational) phases of the facility. In addition, alternative structural designs comparing LRFD, an[d] ASD, were investigated for the frame. An alternative structural scheme was developed for one wing of the building to increase space flexibility.
