Housing for Sri Lanka tsunami victims

Public

The project encompasses the design of a residential facility in Sri Lanka, following the December 2004 Asian tsunami disaster. Having defined construction and economic constraints, two design options are analyzed according to these constraints. The proposed design addresses site plan issues, architectural and structural details as well as the use of construction materials. The facility consists of thirty-two residential units, kitchen and bathrooms as well as water collection and waste disposal systems.
