With the evolution of technology and the recent hurdle of Covid-19, augmented reality has never had a better time to make an appearance. The opportunity to experience an open house/walk through from the comfort of your space, augmented reality provides a modernized approach to showcasing. This project consists of architectural, structural, and mechanical designs for a theoretical commercial building designed to be compatible with augmented reality. The goal of this project is to investigate how augmented reality can be incorporated into architectural design and what overall effect it will have. Through this assessment it’s been determined that augmented reality is a beneficial aspect for this discipline and is recommended to continue being used.
