Survival analysis of women's athletics at WPI

This project has tried to statistically find significant factors to explain the recent lack of participation in women's athletics here at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Participation statistics and a female student athlete survey were used to determine several possible factors. Interactive analysis with SAS and Fortran was used to establish which of these factors was most influential in the low roster numbers. It was concluded that personal reasons and transferring were the most significant reasons for discontinuation of participation in women's athletics at WPI.
