Design of a Graduate Housing Complex at Gateway Park
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project investigated, designed, and analyzed a proposed graduate residence hall as part of the Gateway Park expansion at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. After a brief comparison of concrete and steel superstructures, a final design was completed. This information was used to develop a foundation system to distribute loading. A cost analysis and schedule were also developed. The project was then broken down into additional areas of interest with further studies in underground parking, site development, and LEED implications.
