Development of a plan maintenance model for the Greek shipping industry

Public

International maritime laws and regulations require that shipping companies implement a plan maintenance for every ship they operate. The subject of this project is the development of a plan maintenance that would assure a safe and optimal operation of the ship, a safe working environment for the crew, and the protection of the environment. This was accomplished by dividing the ship in two major sections - the engine room, and the bridge and deck - and developing guidelines for the maintenance of the major components in each section.
