The goal of this project is to develop a low cost, hand-held autoranging tachometer. The project includes background product and market research, system design and testing, and prototyping. An in-depth market analysis will provide information necessary to produce the product requirements and specifications. From these we developed the best design for this product to be successful in its target market. The design process included integrating hardware and software in the prototype. This project culminated with testing of the prototype.
