This project entails the production of the organizational system created for Boston's Archaeology Laboratory. The system employs a database that catalogs and maintains the location of all items stored in the lab, including artifacts, photographs, maps, samples and documentation. The location of all said items is tracked according to a labeling system designed for integration with the database. The report also describes the project's methodology and provides information about the current and future applications of archaeological database systems by integrating other software packages such as MapInfo.
