DJ lighting controller

Public

In today's fast-paced world of mobile DJing, there is a need for a powerful, portable, and user-friendly lighting controller. HAL 9001 is the answer to this need. Starting this project, we wanted to create a product that was simply better than anything on the market today by meeting the needs of the active mobile DJ. To achieve these goals, we took the time-tested feel of current controllers and integrated a PIC 16F877 microprocessor creating a unique controller that interfaces with a standard PS2 port on a Microsoft windows-based platform. This project incorporates several engineering methods used in imbedded systems, including C and assembly firmware development, switch debounce methods, and hardware and software design.
