Our project goal was the implementation of a proof of concept transmitter and receiver in support of research to develop a position estimation system. The transmitter must digitally generate two carrier frequencies and transmit over a multi-resonant antenna. The PLL based receiver must measure the phase difference between the carriers after frequency multiplication to a Least Common Multiple frequency. Our design included all digital and analog circuits of the transmitter and receiver and the multi-resonant antenna and matching network.
