The purpose of this project was to research and improve the design and operation of a Continuous Adiabatic Demagnetization (CADR). Experiments focused on improving the methods used to produce the CADR salt pill, improving the operation of the CADR heat switch, and testing the properties of a new salt pill material Dysprosium Gadolinium Gallium Garnet.
