Design and fabrication of a micro-aerial vehicle

The goal of the MAV project was to design, fabricate and flight test a fixed-wing aircraft of minimum size which meets the design requirements of the 8th international MAV competition. The MAV's design included a fiberglass cambered plate wing, a foam fuselage and a propulsion system consisting of an electric motor and Lithium Polymer battery. The final weight and size of the MAV was 106 g with a wingspan of 18 cm and a chord length of 19.5 cm.
