This project, sponsored by General Dynamics C4 Systems, involved the design and implementation of Trace Manager, an application used for the storage, filtering and analysis of network traffic traces at the data link, network, and transport layers. Trace Manager consists of an extensible, modular API and a graphical interface to the API. The Perl API uses a MySQL database to store traces in a common format. SQL queries perform the filtering and analysis functions.
