Student Work
Education on Marine Pests in Port Phillip Bay
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerOur project aimed to educate Victorians about the Asian shore crab and encourage community involvement in its management. Through literature review, expert discussions, and participatory action research, we developed educational tools for the Port Phillip EcoCentre, including an identification key, a crab traits sheet, a pamphlet, an educational module, videos, an interactive video game, and a Scouts activity. These resources will increase awareness of the threat posed by the Asian shore crab and help protect Port Phillip Bay's marine ecosystems.
