The Insight Program, designed to help students in dealing with the pressures of their first year in school both academically and socially, was created by the Academic Resource Center and Residential Life staff at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In this Interactive Qualifying Project, we have designed a database in order to keep track of these students and an online survey, in order to gain feedback from them. We also developed the Challenge Index, a metric created in a previous IQP to measure the difficulty of a course, in order to see if the students are challenging themselves in this first year of college.
