Collaborating with the Raks Thai Foundation, the goal of our project was to design and propose activities to assist in reducing malaria among migrant workers. We visited Phraek Takhro to speak with residents and plantation workers on malaria related topics. Through focus group meetings, observational studies, and interviews with a combination of 28 locals, migrant workers, volunteers, and school staff, we identified shortcomings in current methods and proposed a workshop to raise awareness, emphasizing a community-focused sustainable approach.
