Project based learning thrives when people work together and learn collaboratively; it is essential to ensure that project based learning can be equitable and inclusive to our campus community. Students can participate in progressing DEI efforts on campus with student-run community-based DEI climate audits. Community based equity audits rely on feedback and help from the community to understand how best to provide support. These audits can be used in classes, majors, departments, colleges and whole universities. Included is a roadmap for future student projects creating a climate audit for a WPI Academic Department.

  • This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
