Suture assist device -- surgical instrumentation design

Public

In order to assist a medical student with limited dexterity in wound closure, a forceps-equivalent tool was reengineered and built. This instrument is a shorter, lighter, and an easier to grip device then its predecessor. The design process, final design specifications, and suggested improvements to this tool are all documented herein.
